Internet Explorer Issues


	Internet Explorer : mac 5.2 There have been no security or performance updates for this browser since June 2003, and Microsoft officially discontinued support for the browser on December 31st 2005. During the redesign of the web site FlyBase decided not to actively support this browser. We recommend that Macintosh users access the site with a more modern browser. Internet Explorer 6 We have worked hard to ensure that the new FlyBase web site is compatible with Internet Explorer 6. However, we are aware that at present the buttons used to open and close the collapsable Matryoshka sections may not be displayed properly. We hope to be able to resolve this problem shortly. Internet Explorer 7 Unfortunately, a change in page display technology introduced with Internet Explorer 7 is incompatible with the new site. We recommend that users access the site with Internet Explorer 6, or an alternative web browser such as Firefox 2 or Opera 9.
