The production of the GLEANR consensus gene models for each of the 11 non-melanogaster Drosophila species with WGS sequence
assemblies (Drosophila ananassae, erecta, grimshawi, mojavensis, persimilis, pseudoobscura, sechellia, simulans, willistoni,
virilis and yakuba) is described in FBrf0200326 (Drosophila 12 Genomes Consortium, 2007, Nature 450(7167): 203--218). The symbols used to refer to these consensus sequences
prior to the publication of FBrf0200326 and the symbols used for the annotations in the genome releases described in FBrf0200326 are listed in FlyBase attributed to this personal communication, to aid in mapping sequences from the original analysis to
the symbols currently used in FlyBase.
In addition, terms that describe the "Class of gene" for all the annotations of the 10 newly sequenced Drosophila species are listed in FlyBase attributed to this personal communication. |
