From rd120@XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Fri Mar 03 10:02:27 2000 To: William.Theurkauf@XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Subject: Helping FlyBase: ADRC-536A Dear Bill, We are currently curating the abstracts for the upcoming 41st (Pittsburgh) Annual Drosophila Research Conference, for FlyBase. I am writing in connection with your abstract: 'armitage: a novel axial patterning mutant affecting microtubule organization during Drosophila oogenesis.' You mention a gene that is new to FlyBase, armitage. Do you have a map location for your gene? This is a data class we like to track, if possible. Also, have you an abbreviation, or shall we just use 'armitage' as the symbol for now? Thank you for your help, with best wishes, Rachel.
