          Eip93F may be a critical regulator of spatial and temporal patterns of steroid-triggered programmed cell death during metamorphosis.
          Eip93F is required for salivary gland, autophagic, cell death. Eip93F is sufficient to trigger cellular changes that result in engulfment by phagocytes, and that coordination of the complete apoptotic response requires the rpr/grim/W cluster.
