      Ectopic expression of the mir-2 cluster (mir-2a-1Scer\UAS.cLa, mir-2a-2Scer\UAS.cLa, mir-2b-2Scer\UAS.cLa), under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 results in wing notching, a reduction in the size of the L3-L4 intervein domain, and the loss of the anterior crossvein and occasional L3 vein breaks, although two copies of the mir-2 cluster are necessary to elicit this phenotype.
