Detailed Description
	Statement Reference Expression of mir-7^{Scer\UAS.T:Disc\RFP-DsRed2} under the control of Scer\GAL4^ptc-559.1 results in notching of the wing and a reduction of the region between wing veins 3 and 4, leading to partial fusion proximally. (Stark et al., 2003)

Statement Reference The reduced eye phenotype seen in aop[ACT.GMR] flies is enhanced in aop[ACT.GMR] Df(2R)mir-7-Δ1/Df(2R)exu1 flies, such that these double mutants have, on average, just 3.7 photoreceptors per ommatidium. Coexpression of the mir-7[Scer\UAS.T:Disc\RFP-DsRed2] transgene, under the control of Scer\GAL4[GMR.PF], prevents the enhancement caused by Df(2R)mir-7-Δ1/Df(2R)exu1. (Li and Carthew, 2005)
