| Nature of the lesion | Statement Reference Construct: 4kb BamHI fragment from position 106 to 110 is fused at the 3' end of an 8kb fragment of the Hin region (representing the dpp promoter and coding exons) in the same orientation. 4kb fragment within the 3' disk region, the blk enhancer fragment, drives dpp transcription. | ||

Complementation & Rescue Data
| |||
| Partially rescues | |||
| Fails to rescue | |||
| Comments | One copy of P{TnJMB7} completely rescues the eye defect of dppd6 but only partially rescues leg, antennae, haltere and wing defects. Two copies gives almost complete rescue of all defects and adults are fertile. Two copies fail to rescue defects of class V heterozygote dppd12/dppd14, individuals fail to form cuticle, most do not eclose from the pupal case, those that do have near full size wings and some legs are missing tarsal segments. | ||
