Detailed Description
| |||
Statement Reference Adult abdominal segments 3-6 are transformed towards the second. The Wheeler's organ appears partially formed in segments 3-6. Individuals of both sexes lack gonads. Tp(3;3)iab3277 individuals show a weak abd-Aiab3-Uab4 phenotype. Hemizygotes show a partial transformation of A1 to A2 and of A3-A5 to A2. Hemizygous embryos show transformed parasegments 8--12 to parasegment 7 (FBrf0042053). The internal genitalia of abd-Aiab3-277/Df(3R)Ubx109 females are either absent or highly abnormal. These flies lack ovaries. | |||
